Lent Begins on Wednesday 

• Eat Lunch with your 5th Grader is February 24th.  Please make sure that you send in your reservation and money by the 18th!
• We will be going on a field trip with 6th, 7th and 8th grade to the Leonarda DaVinci exhibit in St. Louis on May 27th.  Please return the permission slips by Friday the 24th. 
• February Book Reports will be due on Tuesday, February 28th.  Information about this project will come home on Thursday.

The weekof : February 20, 2012

English: We will wrap up Chapter 10 in English - Action, Linking and Be verbs.  The test on this chapter will be on Thursday.

Reading:  We will continue reading- Ribsy, by Beverly Cleary.  Chapter 4 quiz, Thursday.

 Vocabulary/Spelling: Spelling Review packet for units 7.  Use the following website:  Spelling City and search for the teacher name "Mary Sachtleben"  Students should be able to find list Review.  Next, click on play a game, then on Sentence writing practice.  Print your sentences after they are complete and turn in on Thursday- Test on Friday.

Social Studies: We continue to work on Chapter 6, the Founding of the 13 Colonies. We will be finishing Chapter 6 this week.  The test will Next Wednesday the 29th.

 Computers: We will Finish our Colonial Web-quest and present our findings in the  form of a bulletin board.
